Tears For Fears Collection - This is a very productive and resilient tomato that matures mid-season. The flavor is more complex than other similar tomatoes like Ananas Zebre or Cherokee Lime Stripes. It is not as tart as Green Zebra, but there is a hint of a tangy component under the sweetness. I like to feature this tomato in a salad to add beautiful color and extra flavors.

A recipe idea for those of you that plan to grow it. I had a chef use it when ripe for a fried green tomato dish and it was fantastic! The interior holds up well and it was MUCH better than using an unripe green tomato. (Does anyone else's knees get weak when they look at that interior?)
